6x Haikus

Man of poverty
Ryokan...was truly blessed...
By the unseen Hand

Tear my heart out Here...
In this tranquil Kauri Grove
I truly would not mind

Way-weary feet seek
A rest...as the long shadow...
Meets its final end

Beautifully poised
In the sand...the Stingray sleeps...
Its very last sleep

The singing blossom
Cannot be heard by the birds...
That flower all day

At the beach's end
The Pohutukawa shrine...
To enduring peace
